Academic Days
Each year Master’s House students are invited to showcase how they’ve grown, what they’ve learned, and to display the gifts God has given them through various academic and artistic avenues as outlined below. This year’s date is set for March 5th and 6th, 2009, culminating in the Open House on Friday evening, March 6th at 6:00 PM where family, friends, and the public are invited to see repeat performances and view the various displays that the students have been working on. All projects are judged by a panel of judges. Awards are given in the following categories: 1st-3rd place winners in math and poetry, Superior, Excellent, Good, or Honorable Mention ribbons are given in the research, speech, art, music, and dance areas.
Research Fair: Science- and history-related projects
Math Olympics: a reasoning test and a computation test
Speech Meet: memorized poetry or passages of scripture
Poetry Contest: student-created poems
Music & Dance Festival: singing and dancing by the students
Art Show: 2D and 3D student-created artistic projects
